sRGB was made to be universally used because every computer montior can display sRGB. The largest is pro photo it is also the oldest, devlopped 50yrs ago by kodak in mind to be the biggest.

rendering engine decoder software takes the source image and metadata to produce aq image that can be seen. source file can be RAW/DNG/TIF/JPEG. depending on what live rendering is used it looks different from ACR, Capture 1 and lightroom. Live rendering is when the preview of the image data + source image.
